There are others that I think are going to be strong as well, but itвЂ™s pretty tough to rank any of them really, at this point. Early longbows are easily countered by some cheap walls and outposts, then most other civs can outscale them. but that, good farming, decent defense and a really strong late game TC are about all they have going for them. IвЂ™m definitely not on the English train lol, yea longbows are a great unit. I think China is going to surprise a lot of people in a few weeks time. The imperial official is a powerful support unit, and they have great defensive options to hold out until their very strong late game. But in reality, I believe Chinese to be a top civ purely because of their versatility and ability to expand much more quickly than other civs thanks to build time. I was going to place HRE here, but after seeing all of the eco advantages the French have, even compared to the power of the prelate, on top of early knights, stronger crossbows and good late game siege, I think they are going to be extremely potent in the right hands.Д¬hinese. The only real weakness I can think of is that they are susceptible to an all in siege attack, due to having only 2 possible landmarks.ДЇrench. In my mind, they have the greatest balance of eco and military advantages, decent water gameplay, strong rush potential but also good late game scaling.

Probably the silliest mod on the list, Strange Religions is just a fun way to add new content to Civ 5. I also want to learn French as a back up civ for the matches on Arabia in the tourney, and Delhi sounds fun too if they are able to survive early game.ДЄbbasid. Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition Civilizations which are incredible in the latest patch and these are mostly banned during pro player matches because how strong they are. The different eco bonus will hopefully lead to different feels for every civ, giving the game longevity. In the end, it will come to down to numbers but im really exited. They have really good landmarks in generel, espacially for castle age (the towncenter is just great). English have the option to pressure early with longbowman.

Also really strong eco buffs and the keep influence for reduced cost, will make this civ top tier.Д®nglish: Who knows how many balance changes have happend since stress test.

Zulu- the impi rush plus overrun bonus make them the easiest civ to consistently pick up early caps with and dominate the map early China- Hands down the best tech civ, and besides the americans, they are probably the best defenders.
